Sign Petition to Show Solidarity for SPLC Union

We are so grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received over the past week since a supermajority of Southern Poverty Law Center staff signed union authorization cards and filed an election petition with the NLRB.

Many folx have asked us what else they can do to show solidarity with the SPLC Union. Please take a few minutes to sign this petition letting the SPLC Board and Senior Leadership know you stand with us.

At the end of the day, we are committed to winning ourĀ union, whether through voluntary recognition or election. We appreciate y’all.

SPLC does fantastic work. I have made donations fairly regularly over the last many years. But hey management – you’re looking bad here. We’re talking basic civil rights here – the right to have a democratic workplace. Even if you require a vote, ditch that bad law firm!!

I’m writing in support of the SPLC Union. As a former employee of SPLC, I think this is absolutely the right step and a Unionized SPLC greatly increases my confidence in the direction and accountability of the organization. I am much more likely to recommend my friends to seek employment there and my community to donate and support the important work SPLC does, knowing that the rights and input of SPLC workers are valued and protected.
